Instant Karma

Full Day standby (SBYFULL) today so it starts form 0900h. Because hubby is on reservist he can't really send me to work so he's extremely concerned as to what flight I will be doing so he made me call MIOCC the night before to ask for fights.

I asked, and as expected they said no open flights. So I headed to bed.

They called me at 3am and told me to operate MI774 USM. I'm more than happy (at least its not some China or India) but the reporting is at 0855h why did they call me at 3am? Omg. Had such a hard time sleeping back. Hubby says MIOCC is most productive between 1am-3am haha.

I was S3 for this flight and because USM only uses A319 we were down by one crew at the back and its full load both ways. For the first sector S1 came down to help us for service.

For the second sector, cic came down halfway through meal service and started spying on me. So god damn stress and she was practically eavesdropping on my passenger and my conversation. For a moment I wondered if I was on check haha.

And when I did collection with cic, I accidentally spilled a can drink and I was like whoosh omg. What a blunder. I was extremely clumsy this day, not to mention how a bottle of wine rolled onto the passenger. So embarrassing.

Aside to service, when we arrived at USM, we were shocked to find out that the earlier USM MI771 hasn't departed yet! They were overbooked and delayed by almost 2 hours. Poor them!

Just as we were laughing at the other stet of crew, instant karma found us. We were delayed for almost 30mins due to this group of China tourists (which is actually a very long story about miscommunication) so basically I shall just skip that.

Guess what, we were still 10mins early when we arrived in SIN! What a good way to start the weekends (not). I'm doing Trivandrum (TRV) overnight tomorrow.
