Happy midweek! Second and last India overnight of the shortest month of 2017: Coimbatore (CJB).
CJB is a relatively easy overnight to do but anyway I was S1 with an extremely nice cic so nothing else matters.
We were sharing cold jokes all the way and laughing non-stop at our lame selves. When my cic opened a champagne for a passenger after take off, probably due to the bumpy take off, the champagne popped so hard that all the champagne started flowing out and it got onto my cic. She was joking about the advertisement on tv about celebrating with champagne while I was joking about her having a literal "champagne shower".
Our jcl passengers are such "high-class" people that they think they are having fine-dining by slowly enjoying their meals and taking forever to finish their meals.
This lady at 1D asked for Chamomile tea but when I served she insisted that the tea smells funny and ended up taking out her own TWG Chamomile teabag (which my instant response was a inside 180 degrees roll eye). Atas lor.
Our Row 5 passengers were an old elderly couple whom our hearts wrenched when we saw them. The husband probably suffered a stroke and had a severe hunchback that his face was already leaning on the tray table during meal service. He can't use his hands to eat so his wife had to put his food on the tray for him to eat directly with his mouth. But it is still sweet to see them so loving despite their age.
Taking off out from CJB, my crew and cic had issues with a kid at the aft and took so long before we could set the cabin for take off. When we were landing in SIN, this same kid was giving problems because the mum refuse to let the crying child sit down and it turned out that their kid was below 2 years old but they bought a seat for the child so we ended up having to issue an infant seatbelt. I was in jcl on standby while they were settling this family and Captain called to say we were landing in 3mins and when I took a look out of the window oh my god we were literally landing anytime! Such a rushed cabin check and the moment my cic sat down and informed Captain, once she finished her landing announcement our wheel touched the runway!
But thank god we landed. Rest off rest off :D
